Looking for some 225/40/18. Budget is $550 each.

To be used for daily driving, good wet performance on a shark.

Got some derubio on rims i bought and they are shyte. Ben up all how, no balance can save them.

Recommendations and locations?

Reading thru, the maxxis Z4 and DZ 101s pop up regular but can they be sourced within my price?

Was literally just at a tyre shop and saw a sign with that name and price and was most confused. Lotta strange brands now.

I have heard of this brand for off-road tyres but not really for passenger vehicles.

If it was a good tyre they would have spent 5 more seconds on a better name...

they didnt get good international reviews
best you put a little more $$ and get something better
kamus has some options in firestone and bridgestone...cant remember the prices
that tire shop after monroe road (wheels plus i believe have bridgestone g3's for 600
and a tire shop on aranguez main road has dunlops for 500 or less (lm 704 i believe)
cant remember the price on the hankook's but it was a regular model tire

Also note that the G3's treadwear is 180 so long lasting may be an issue according to your driving pattern.

Are michelins worth the cost locally?

Went to quick service today to look for some suv tyres...
Even with 50% off the 2nd tyres (or buy3 get 1 free) 4 new tyres are costing 7300

Vs

A set of nexen H/T for 3200 and my neighbourhood tyreshop

225/65/17 currently

2 triangle A/T in front
2 different bridgestone H/T in the back (i bought the van like this)

I want to maintain the stock tyre size so i prefer to get that exact size tyre
H/T

Those a little bigger than mine, shipping might be about the same. Over a certain weight they charge less.

A bit late to the conversation.
The Michelin SUV tyres are the best SUV tyres in my opinion so far.... The price however is a bit hefty and not worth the money being asked. My brand of choice in the value for money department is maxxis. Similar grip and ride to the Michelin but a much easier price on the pocket. Kumho road venture apt kl51 are also decent.

Personally I love maxxis tyres but generally not the quietest. Kumhos are usually pretty quiet tyres by I've never bought suv tyres
