Who does Rim Repairs/Painting?

Postby tinytim » February 4th, 2004, 11:38 am

I know there's a banner up here for a guy named Marcus from Petit Valley. Anyone know of anyone else... reasonable and preferably on the east west corridor. Just looking around at options for good quality work.

Listen, marcus does excellent work, do not bother to look around. Dean will either send it right by marcus or peakes to do anyway. Peakes does a good job with cracks, but I don't know about refinishing.

I have done two rims with the outer lip bent by Marcus, I recieved them the same day I dropped them and I couldn't tell they were ever damaged.

Talk done.

Peakes does an excelent job, but they does take long jed. I've heard of Marcus and it's only good things I hear about his work. Try him pal.

What you see above may not necessarily be what he sees above.

Mileage mack also sends their rims by Marcus or Peakes to repair, and then charge you an arm and leg on top of that.

marcus charges about $150 per rim (15"), i just wanted to get some feedback on his work. i like the positive reviews so i'll go with him.

Marcus is good , but his prices are quite questionable , please make your position clear before leaving your rim.

Rim Repairs:

Forget the ad. Went there, got sheit work for mucho $$$, & jackass attitude on top of it as well!!!

Go STRAIGHT to McLean by Propeller & Marine Service in Chaguaramas; in Peak's Marina. Ask for Robert (middle-aged indian fella, real cool too.) Their number is 634-4533.

They do EXCELLENT work. Just had them do over 2 OZ rims for me. Yes the 2 that Marcus balls up.

TOP CLASS, and VERY good prices too! You can't ask for more than that! They might take a little longer than you would like but they ALWAYS have a lot of work.
