Sweeks I not sure if the LN145 pads are the same as any of the models you have for. Is a TBF 4x2 single cab model I have.

DW I got that same issue with my 2012 hilux, you only get the noise on really bumpy roads. TTTL retorqued my suspension as well but 2 days after I heard the noise again and my truck only doin 2200km. The noise sound like it`s coming from somewhere in front.

I have ah LN145 myself and disc pads lasted almost 11 years, brake shoes are 14 years and still like new

No known issues on this model that I know of, really a workhorse. I have one of these myself, 14 years old only things i changed parts wise were belts and a radiator.
