Yellow lights light up your way better than white lights. (your eyes see better)
White lights surely blind the oncoming driver.
My advice is to stick with the original lights the car came with.
The wiring was intended to handle that current too.

The electric motor/generator is the primary propulsion unit. Whenever there are more demands that it can handle, the engine assists.................The AC compressor needs to run.....the battery pack needs to be charged.......you want more acceleration/power............. Folks, The new 2018 CRV has a 1498cc engine istead of 2000cc. It means that instead of 35% Customs Duty on a 2000cc vehicle , ANSA motors will pay 25%. The MVT will now be TT$7,495 before VAT instead of TT$22,387. Of course after all these reductions, the VAT also will drop. Now........................

Toyota calls the "gearbox" a Power Split Device which is a unit made up of planetary gears between the two motor/generators. In late generation of the Prius the unit is more complicated with a second set of planetary gears and is now called the Speed Reduction Device.
