Re: *** The official car accident thread***

That accident that claimed the 6yr old rocked many people here in Tobago. The father (Dean) is well known and a good friend to many. Hoping he and his family pull through.

Carb tank baffle using PVC?

Just curious but anyone who has done a fuel pump conversion in their carb tanks...

what method did you use? Could a piece of PVC be used as a baffle to help keep the fuel from sloshing around?

Re: ***The official early evo/GSR thread***

Well from the lil things I read around it was a lot of work. Of course relocating the engine mount bracket.... then I believe they stated they used evo 4 subframe along with power steering rack. Then of course the wiring aspect of it.

Re: Car firewall?

LOL I say that because it would be hard to do if say they decide to paint the whole car in and out. There's a guy on FB who recently did a floor conversion of a CK with an evo 5 donor... everything scrapped out and the car repainted red. Now he did it the long and legal way by the floor pan swap, bu...

Re: Car firewall?

Not sure if later models have it but mine has the numbers stamped under the windscreen too. Would be a bit hard to change that. But anything possible out here yes. once it stamped onto metal nerve they can drill out the spot welds and work to suit. but as i said... they cant tamper with the registe...

Re: Availability of 350Z OEM bodyparts locally

Figured so. Options really outside but for some of them not willing to ship as it's body panels and the sheer landed cost alone,
this seemed the easier option

Re: Making 701 great again

This is one amazing restore. Ever thought of painting the headlight housings? May give it a more evo9 aggressiveness!! The thought was there to when I used to run gold advans... but honestly I find the clear lights match well with the white wheel theme. The black lights doesn't flow with the scheme...
