Moses could by your map thats goings. Your on the right track with having it scanned, just make sure its by someone who knows how to use the obd11 tool and not just scan the car and say there are no errors. Another possibility when having the car tested is to let technician look at your map readings...

nightman just as trapstar said fuel pump,throttle body but there is also the egr that comes with the gdi engines. There 's a post from raybic on how to clean intake and block off egr. Yea i forgot to mention that. once the abs light comes on the brakes will work properly, but i would still be very careful.
Once you shut off and restart the car you will basically have the same problem where the brakes will be unresponsive. Have this sorted out before something serious happens

Having a lil issue guys. When d a/c is on,d temp goes up high. But when d a/c is off, it operates normal. I've checked back both fans,both spin at d same speed,very powerful. The fan remains on about 5 secs after u switch off. I know d fan controller cud be bad. Cud d fan controller be causing this...
