I didn't say anything about cancelling carnival, just pointing out that he needs to go over the reality about viral transmission, which is clearly being downplayed.

Re: Coronavirus - Wuhan, China strain

This disease spreads from coughing via droplets, it's not truly airborne (the range is small). To get this virus you need to be coughed on, on your mouth. Another way is by putting your hands in your mouth after touching a surface or after residue lands on it. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/41/c7/9...

Re: Essque

All of those subs are low Q, meaning you're going to have to pump more power, equalise the low end because of the fast roll off and keep in mind excursion issues because inherently those drivers are designed to be supported by an air spring which raises Q, rather than mechanical control via spiders ...

Re: Frequency response graph

The Fs of the id 12 is 20hz. I mean if you're going for sq, large and low tuned or sealed are your best options. Id's recommended sealed enclosure has a qtc that's a bit high for my liking at 1.25 cubes unless you plan on tweaking with filling. A sealed enclosure at 2.5 cubes will give you a damping...

Great sub. Who carries Id 12's now btw? Image Dynamics actually have spec sheets and FR graphs that factor generic vehicle cabin gain. https://acd18d33-4461-49d0-9804-8fc4a14d22d2.filesusr.com/ugd/d53db0_1e2bbe1f7fd94f259851ed7b85037046.pdf 1.75 cubes @ 32 seems pretty cut and dry if it was me. Re: Frequency response graph

If you're actually trying to a flat frequency response, it's a matter of accounting for the environment the cabinet is going into. If it's a car, you're going to have to account for cabin gain which varies with vehicle length and internal volume. With a higher tuning, it generally sounds ok once eq'...

Re: When last have you visited the pitch lake?

Can't say for bacteria, but we found that pitch confers antihelmintic properties to the water that it's in contact with. The same has been known about tar itself for some ages as a remedy for infestations.

Pretty big houndfish too. Pretty much a poor man's marlin, they behave erratic when hooked, flips, jumps, tailwalking so you need to be careful once they're near the boat and still green. Wearing flashy stuff in the water will get you impaled as well.

For those of you interested in aquaria, the population of guppies found at the pitch lake has been the subject of a lot of great work on evolutionary ecology. I've had no choice but to be there alot for research purposes but fish are more interesting than pitch to me lol. https://www.researchgate.ne...

Trinis will find a way to eat anything, doesn't make sense killing a shark that size but usually they're caught on palang where they swallow hooks/entangle themselves/ exhaust themselves to death and they pull them in dead or barely alive.

Anyone have experience in taking care of abandoned kittens? I found 2 today in the rain in some soaked newspapers. Their eyes are opened and they're about 3-4oz if i had to guess.
