Re: Tuner Cooking Thread.

One thing I see you put baking powder in the dough mix in addition to yeast, I have seen another recipe without have you tried without ? It's habit tbh, makes it self rising flour. But it makes more sense, in fact yeast prefers a slightly acidic environment and baking powder would increase the pH, ...

Re: Tuner Cooking Thread.

You need some of this with those doubles. Whole house smells... Looks good, but tbh- pepper and myself aren't the best of friends lol. There's something about doubles w/wo pepper that doesn't agree with me whenever I eat it on the odd occasion. We make a low heat motherinlaw at home, just for flavo...

Re: Tuner Cooking Thread.

That's total time, not pressure time. Pressure time is about 10-15 max. Mine takes a whole 10-15 mins just to come to pressure lol It's a decent Hawkins cooker. Simple seal system and really effective. Ahh, gotcha. Cool, mine is a large rochedo, it's a Brazilian brand. what is purpose of t he bakin...

Again...there is no need to soak dhal....channa with baking powder yes...not dhal...Personally I hate pressure cookers. Tastes are different You use baking soda in channa not baking powder. Re: Tuner Cooking Thread.

Yea that dhal prob too old. Dhal takes about 20-30 mins in the pressure cooker, no swizzle necessary. Sans pressure cooker, maybe 45m-1hr depends on how old it is, then you have to either Swizzle or immersion blend it. For 1 c dry dhal, I use about 1/2 tsp turmeric, 6-8 cloves garlic, 4-6 pimentos,...

Re: Tuner Cooking Thread.

Question: Dhal, how to make it without a pressure cooker? I am using the recipe from the Naparima Girls' cookbook. But after more than one hour, the dhal is still not getting soft. The package says to use a pressure cooker, but I know it can be done without one. Just don't know how. Thanks. Weyys, ...

The first song I learnt on guitar was seven nation army, playing the bass riff. Taught me how to fret strings properly to start and also taught me how to read tabs. Guitar pro was a real lifesaver later down the road trying to learn complex pieces. Youtube and Ultimate Guitar.com is your best friend.

Idk why people are going bonkers over hand sanitizer. Alcohol based sanitizers are indeed more effective when it comes to killing bacteria. Virus surface mating lipid structures are impeded by plain old soap..

Skimmers do not remove nitrates. You would need to look at a refugium or some sort of absorbent. The tried and true, is water exchange.

Yes, you'll get live lobster at pt radix very easily but you need to go wait for the boats to come in, and deal with the vendors who are going to be rushing them.

Re: How many tuners drink enough water daily?

Yes, you have to intake sufficient water to prevent dehydration, but you don't need to be chugging water all day which is the idea most people have. If you really need a guide, make sure your urine stays within the range of a nice pale yellow or if you're really meticulous- Monitor your urine output...

Re: How many tuners drink enough water daily?

Just drink when you're thirsty....on an office day. 2 gulps of water during working hours is usually fine for me, due to factors like temperature and obvious vasoconstriction/dilation as a result. It's not rocket science, your body will tell you what it needs.

In hebrew scripture, death presents itself early makes no excuses about the state of man and his affairs. Abel (hebel- breath, vapour, vanity) appears on the scene and disappears, vanishes- just as fast despite his righteous behaviour, while his brother who murders him out of envy, goes on living wi...
