Re: Fielder steering locking

Sounds like an electrical problem. The NZE141 has electric steering. Your battery is OK I suppose.......still under warranty. Too, it starts the car. When you turn the steering the steering motor takes a lot of current. If the supply is not enough, the ignition system suffers and the car shuts off. ...

Call Mr. Michael Small.
717 1874
He has a 1800cc Corolla.
It is not a Luxel, but carries the 1ZZFE engine.
He is a car guy.

The Fielder S, ZZE122 may have similarities also.

Re: Qashqai Radiator Fan Motor Problem

The fan ALWAYS pulls air through the radiator and blows toward the engine. This is why there is a cowl/shroud, to prevent it pulling air from the sides. Clockwise or anti-clockwise will not matter, as there is a possibility that the angle on various fan blades may be different. Too, when the car is ...

Re: Buzzing/ humming noise from under the dashboard

There are servomotors that control air flow for the climate control system, by opening and closing little baffles over the ports. Maybe you have a bad one. When you hear the noise coming, change the air control from face to feet or whatever. In this way you may be able to give a little more info to ...

Folks, The issue for the valve going bad is not contaminants or oil breakdown. This is a sealed high-pressure system. Nothing can get in to contaminate. I have a 15-year old Fielder with freezing AC. Re: Led/ super white headlamp bulbs 1.8 Cruze

Yellow lights light up your way better than white lights. (your eyes see better)
White lights surely blind the oncoming driver.
My advice is to stick with the original lights the car came with.
The wiring was intended to handle that current too.

This is up for real argument, but as far as my experience has shown, there is NOTHING superior to the Japanese in terms of value for the dollar. European vehicles are not as cost-effective as Japanese. Maintenance cost is way higher. Too, in years to come, the Japanese is easier to sell, and you get...

Dave is correct. There is a long plastic cover under and front of the driver's seat with the words "Frame Number". Raise it, and the number is stamped on the metal. The engine number is at the front of the engine, under the plastic inlet manifold. You have to use a bright flashlight to ide...

Unlike the previous gas-powered 1300cc JDM Fit, the Hybrid has a 1500cc, so there should not be a problem. The vent control on the Sylphy is motorized. These motors are problematic. They do not shut the vents properly.
