Re: Tuscon Overheating

These come with a single dual speed radiator fan. I had an issue with the fan only on slow speed. I replaced the fan motor and problem solved.

I don't think the mivec came in the CB version. My libero came original with the 1800 cc 4g93 SOHC engine, and it works great, with a tranny or gearbox. There will be little to no mods required. Your original tranny should be able to use with the 4g93. avg cost for complete engine minus tranny $4500...

The 4g93 n/a from the CB3. Not the GDI version, in my opinion is a good option. The 4g63 is good but it will cost more and will burn more gas.

Shaka , although I have to respect your advice ,you won't necessarily get more power than dohc 1.8 mivec.....I have heard these actually make more power...remember is only so much you that 4g93T can handle before detonation...also the new evo is a dohc 2.0 mivec power plant....so if he uses that 1....

You will get more performance if you put 4G63T airflow meter, ECU, injectors and Turbo . Sell the mivec and invest the money on those parts. I've seen this work !!!.

Just my lil input. :D

I had the same issue with the CB model. It is different. I had to use one from a mistu pick-up van. Got it at gazallie in charlieville. (The spelling is wrong). The auto starter nose is shorter then the manual one. It will work, but will ware and slip after a few weeks.
