Hello people , anyone know who rents torque plates or a machine shop where uses them in the machining process ? I'm interested in having an RB bored out.
With the advancement in technology engines should run smoother and mounts better designed to absorb vibrations. No new car should experience vibrations. I presently have 3 corollas at my disposal, all ranging different models. None of them have that problem.
I'm seriously considering trying to use a 6 throttle intake from the RB26 on a RB20 , my research has shown that both Blitz and Greddy has made adapter plates for use of the manifold on the RB25 , but these are very hard to come by . I have the igniter , it's the ignter plugs that were missing , I got the plugs off a 2JZ , but the wire colour don't correspond to the 1JZ harness , so what I need is a pinout diagram with wire colours of the igniter .
Recently bought a 1JZ vvti engine but the igniter harness was cut . I got the plugs from a 2JZ vvti harness but the colours on the wires are different .My igniter harness has 2 plug , a 10 pin and a 2 pin . Anyone knows what colour wire on the original 1JZ harness has to go to which pin on the ignit...
Depending on what you're going to be using the car for should be the main factor in power plant selection , if it's a drift setup , I would recommend a 4 cylinder .
Presently re-building a SR20DET with VTC (S14 Kouki) and I am looking for a new oil pump , what I would like to know is if the pump from the S13 SR20 or the FWD SR20DET from the U13 or Avenir is compatible ?

Recently installed a Greddy style intake and Q45 throttle body , since then I have been experiencing an idle of 1200 to 1500 rpm . Adjusting the ACC has no effect , checked for possible vacuum leaks but haven't found any . Anyone got suggestions as to what would be the next best thing to do ??
