Lintols are short pieces above windows/doors that extend just over the edges. The ring beam goes above the lintols and usually spans the entire perimeter of the structure

^ depends on the person and what they are giving you (approvals etc). I paid 6k for a 35*50 2 story complete with septic drawings, roof details, plumbing etc. so 10k seems a bit high

Mini excavators go for $1200 to 1500 per day. That's about the cost of 4 labourers and will be 100 times more productive. Just my 2cents

Land is currently vacant but there is a steep drop off on the last 20ft. Wanted to put a retaining wall and back fill so by next year it should be completed/settled so I can start building.

Ice you can always install lights with motion sensors in the areas you are worried about. Most times it the cheapest/most effective fix, just make sure the lights do not shine towards the camera.

25 series means that the sidewall of the tyre is 25% the width of the tyre. So a 355/25 would have a sidewall that is 83.75mm tall vs a 205/25 which will have a sidewall of 51.25mm
