SKYO, leave it as is, Currently you have active filtering which is great. I hope you have a bandpass xover for the woofers.

From the looks of it you seem to want more output. Replacing the factory sealed sub may mostly yield better sound quality and nothing much noticeable on amplitude.

Sure it is doable. Firstly you need to pull the panel and look at the volume of the factory enclosure and size of sub, depth available etc..

https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200803/6f2cbbd415acd165ad5be2e4201daa8d.jpg As shown in the pics I am using an aero port So tuning won’t be a problem if we decide to tune to a higher tone. Where did you get a aeroport that gave you that length? You bought a coupling piece and more tube?

F.S. Image dynamics IDQ12 in Sealed Box-Demo Available

Hi All, Up for sale is a very lightly used IDQ12V3 in a practically brand new sealed enclosure. Sub is dual 4 ohm and is in mint condition (never repaired). Box is approximately 1.25cuft (Q≈0.73) and is rear lined with dacron. For those that don't know, this is a great SQ subwoofer as it is very acc...

I have a sealed setup. Sounds good inside the vehicle but can't hear it more than 7 ft away I would think. Suits my taste fine as the music is for my enjoyment. But with such small power, you need to go ported or go with a sub with a larger cone area as this would give you a little edge. Don't real...
