Which engine oil is better the Amsoil 10w30 or the 10w40 ? It has a mileage of 56,000

Owner's manual ranges from 5w20 to 20w50
Given that its doing about 156k km, I would suggest 10W30.

56,000 km? I would say go with the 10W-30 which is an acceptable and probably optimal choice for our climate per the user's manual.

I'm an Amsoil Signature Series fan though, but I never personally used Royal Purple lubricants, but I love the Royal Purple oil filters though.

Forums
